It was a fantastic weekend for French Superbike star Kenny Foray. taking 3rd place in race 1, top spot in race 2 putting him into the overall lead!

Below is the race report from Kenny.

We had an appointment at Nogaro for the second event of the French Superbike Championship. A weekend a bit special with what happened this winter and the disappearance of Anthony Delhalle during tests on this circuit Gers. But the sun welcomed us from free practice and did not leave us until the Sunday races. We found a good base of adjustment from the first rounds of wheels which bode well for the rest of the weekend. As for qualifying, I signed twice, as in Le Mans, the second time behind Jérémy Guarnoni.

For the first race, we opted for a soft tire to be faster in the first laps. That's what happened because, with Jeremy, we made a big difference on the rest of the pack. Unfortunately, the safety-car went out for a half turn and this allowed our opponents to come back. David Perret managed to double me three laps from the finish and I could not retaliate. So I was pretty disappointed but that remains a podium and important points for the championship.
For the second race, we again opted for soft tires. Several falls enamelled the beginning of race but I managed to escape there. I took the lead quickly and I did not want to force too much to be fast in the final laps. At the end of the race, David Perret was still glued to my rear wheel. The fate was this time with me because the red flag was out a lap from the end and David could not attack me which allowed me to win my first victory of the season. I am all the more glad that this allows me to take the lead of the championship.

So it was a very satisfying weekend with very good times that brought me closer to those of Jeremy Guarnoni. I would like to thank my friends, my family and my partners for their support and give you a rendezvous in three weeks on the circuit of Ledenon where I intend to consolidate my position as leader.
