About the The Race Department
RST are committed to supplying stylishly designed, well manufactured and safe motorcycle products and have always had a close relationship with the racing community, from ACU license holders to top fight British Superbike contenders. After the success of RST standard products in the paddock it became obvious that there was a demand for race specific RST products and the Race Department was born.
Initially starting off with standard badged suits the available range has now grown to over 15 products and customers now have both standard or customised motorcycle suits, gloves and boots to choose from, along with a small range of accessories. For off the peg items, Rebecca is normally the first point of contact.
RST Custom Leathers
From the initial enquiry to receiving the order you will be guided through the entire process by the Race Department team. For custom motorcycle leathers and made to measure suit enquiries, you will be put in contact with Cameron to make an appointment at our head office for a fitting.
During the fitting the design brief and suit specification are discussed and you can take a look at colour options and previous suit designs for inspiration. Not only do you get the choice on design, colours and badging but you can also adapt the suit to your riding style and conditions. Once a production date is set all details are then passed to Meagan in design to realise your wishes. We produce customized suits for both teams with set designs and colours to work to, along with individual riders with more freedom to have the suit designed just the way they want it.
We are able to produce suits in the more classic one colour based design to something bright and colourful using the latest neon colourways. Sponsors badging and logos are all included in the service too!
RST Custom Badging Service
For those who want something quicker our badging service for the off the peg range of RST suits is as popular as ever and you now have the option of the CE approved Tractech Evo R. Just simply place your order with race department, send in your logo information by electronic file and Ed in the badging department will do the rest.
A mock up of how your chosen suit is sent over for approval before work is started and from then logos are printed on to high quality badging material and sewn directly on - you can request a quote on our Badging Service page
RST Badge Repair Service
We also offer a badge repair service for those RST suits with more wear in them after a racing incident. Our team assess each suit individually and we will give a quote based on cost and timescale. This service is available all year but is more popular during the racing season, when leathers can be dropped into the race service at the end of the BSB racing weekend, to be worked on before the next round.
For those customers not in the BSB series, leathers can be returned to ourselves so please contact Rebecca beforehand to book them in.
