WorldSBK veteran, Suzuka 8-hr winner, British Superbike Champion: Alex Lowes is a household name in the world of motorcycling.
Born in Lincolnshire Alex grew up racing motorcycles with his twin brother Sam. Alex quickly moved through the British 125cc Championship and onto the British Superbike Championship, winning the 2013 title. His success domestically led to a move into the WorldSBK series in 2014. Alex has ridden for Suzuki, Yamaha and currently the Bimota Racing Team.

Alex was part of the Yamaha Factory Racing Team that won the 2016, 2017 and 2018 Suzuka 8 hours Endurance race.

Alex has stood on the top spot of the podium twice to-date with wins at the Brno Circuit in 2018 and wins in 2020 and 2024 at the renowned Phillip Island Circuit in Australia.

Since starting in WorldSBK in 2014 Alex is one of the most consistent performers on the grid, with 46 podiums.
- 2013 British Superbike Champion
In his first season on the works Honda bike (Samsung Honda) he won the BSB title, claiming 8 race wins as well 13 other podium finishes. This included winning the final race of the season, beating Shane Byrne in the process.
- 300+ Races in WorldSBK
Since the 2014 season Alex has amassed more than 300 races in the WorldSBK series.
Having joined the Kawasaki WorldSBK team in 2020, taking the seat alongside 6-time WSBK champion Jonathan Rea. After being paired with Rea for his first 4-years on the green machine: 2024 saw Alex take the lead seat in the team, as Jonathan Rea moved to the Yamaha racing team.
2025 saw the Kawasaki team merge with Bimota, with Alex continuing as the team's no.1 rider alongside up-and-coming Italian Rider Axel Bassani.
