Born in Lincolnshire Alex Lowes grew up racing motorcycles with his twin brother Sam.

Alex quickly moved through the British 125 Championship and onto the British Superbike Championship, winning the 2013 title. His success domestically led to a move into the WorldSBK series in 2014. aLEX has ridden for Suzuki, Yamaha and currently rides for the Kawasaki Racing Team in the Superbike World championship.

  • Suzuka 8 hour race winner x3

    Alex was part of the Yamaha Factory Racing Team that won the 2016, 2017 and 2018 Suzuka 8 hours Endurance race.

  • 2 WorldSBK Race Wins

    Alex has stood on the top spot of the podium twice to-date with wins at the Brno Circuit in 2018 and a 2020 win at the renowned Phillip Island Circuit in Australia.

  • 29 WorldSBK Podiums
    Since starting in WorldSBK in 2014 Alex is one of the most consistent performers on the grid, with 29 podiums.

  • 2013 British Superbike Champion
    In his first season on the works Honda bike (Samsung Honda) he won the BSB title, claiming 8 race wins as well 13 other podium finishes.

  • 230+ Races in WorldSBK
    Since the 2014 season Alex has amassed more than 230 races in the WorldSBK series, currently holding a 12.5% race to podium ratio.

Alex has been an RST factory rider since 2013 and this year will be riding his Kawasaki ZX-10RR equipped with our Race Dept V4.1 Airbag Suit.

TracTech Evo 4 glove combines the best of previous TracTech gloves with more features for a superb fit, comfort and protection. Made with both full-grain cowhide and kangaroo leather, the glove features a CE Level 1 Carbon Knuckle Protector for impact protection. Aramid Fibre on the palm stitching and underlay, along with double layer kangaroo leather and an RST palm slider protect the palm in the event of a high speed slide, while the double wrist and cuff closure offer a secure fit. Aramid Fibre lining throughout the rest of the glove prevents tearing, and elasticated conjoined fingers to prevent “finger roll” without affecting reach or flexibility when changing gear.
