Kenny Foray's journey to victory in the 2023 French Superbike Championship was a rollercoaster ride filled with exhilarating highs and nail-biting lows. Having claimed the title in 2022, Foray was a force to be reckoned with from the outset of the championship. He entered the final round as the reigning champion and the leader of the championship, a position that came after he built a crucial 9-point lead during the previous event on the Carole circuit.

However, victory was far from guaranteed, and the French Superbike championship would be decided in a heart-pounding climax on the Castellet circuit.

The Decisive Moment on the Track

The final showdown at the Castellet circuit was an electrifying affair, with everything hinging on the first round. Kenny Foray faced adversity early on, starting poorly from pole position and finding himself in sixth place after the initial loop. Meanwhile, his rival, Mike Di Meglio, assumed the lead with the support of his teammate, Alan Techer.

However, as every motorsport enthusiast knows, races can change in the blink of an eye. Four laps into the race, a dramatic turn of events unfolded as Di Meglio's Honda #5 scraped the tarmac. RST factory rider Alan Techer would go on to take 3rd place in the race this weekend. The endurance world championship specialist finishing off a good season with another strong performance.

With the pressure of the championship lifted in the second round of the season's final race, Kenny Foray showed his prowess by delivering a remarkable performance. Throughout the season, he had experienced both highs and lows, with a challenging start before gaining momentum during the Lédenon event. Now, in the final laps of the season, Foray secured his championship win in style, defeating Alan Techer with a margin of just 41 thousandths of a second.

Dans le monde des sports mécaniques, triompher une fois est un exploit remarquable, mais conserver son titre est un témoignage de compétence et de détermination. C'est ce qu'a réussi à faire Kenny Foray le week-end dernier, en remportant le championnat FSBK 2023, son deuxième titre consécutif.

UNE SAISON SPECTACULAIRE POUR KENNY FORAY

Le parcours de Kenny Foray jusqu'à sa victoire dans le Championnat de France Superbike 2023 a été une véritable montagne russe, avec des hauts palpitants et des bas à se ronger les ongles. Après avoir remporté le titre en 2022, Foray a été une valeur sûre dès le début du championnat. Il a abordé la dernière manche en tant que champion en titre et leader du championnat, après avoir acquis une avance cruciale de 9 points lors de l'épreuve précédente sur le circuit Carole.

Mais la victoire est loin d'être acquise et le championnat de France Superbike va se jouer lors d'une finale haletante sur le circuit du Castellet.

UN MOMENT DÉCISIF SUR LA PISTE

L'affrontement final sur le circuit du Castellet est électrisant et tout se joue lors de la première manche. Kenny Foray est confronté à l'adversité dès le départ, mal parti depuis la pole position, il se retrouve en sixième position à l'issue du premier tour. Pendant ce temps, son rival, Mike Di Meglio, prend la tête avec le soutien de son coéquipier, Alan Techer.

Cependant, comme le savent tous les passionnés de sports mécaniques, une course peut basculer en un clin d'œil. Quatre tours après le début de la course, un incident dramatique est survenu : la Honda n°5 de Di Meglio a frotté le bitume. Kenny Foray a saisi cette opportunité et a effectué une série de manœuvres impressionnantes, dépassant ses concurrents et se positionnant à la deuxième place, une position qui lui assurait la victoire au championnat.

Alan Techer, pilote d'usine RST, prend la troisième place de la course de ce week-end. Le spécialiste du championnat du monde d'endurance termine une bonne saison avec une remarquable performance.

UNE VICTOIRE PASSIONNANTE ET UNE ODE À LA TÉNACITÉ

Alors que la pression du championnat s'est envolée lors de la deuxième manche de la dernière course de la saison, Kenny Foray s'est illustré en réalisant une performance remarquable. Tout au long de la saison, il a connu des hauts et des bas, avec un départ difficile avant de monter en puissance lors de l'épreuve de Lédenon. Dans les derniers tours de la saison, Kenny Foray a remporté le championnat avec brio, en battant Alan Techer avec une marge de seulement 41 millièmes de seconde.
