• Cleaning your leather garment (non-Airbag)

  1. Firstly, start by removing the inner lining, this is usually zipped in with some press studs holding the arms/legs down.

  2. To clean, firstly use a damp cloth to wipe down all the dirt from the product.

  3. Use a new clean cloth and apply some leather cleaning solution which will keep the leather subtle and stop it from cracking.

  4. The thermal liner you removed at the start can be placed into a washing machine on a standard 30degree wash.

  5. Finally, once dry you can choose to spray with a fabric freshener to keep it smelling fresh.

• Cleaning my textile garments (Textile Non-Airbag)

  1. Firstly, start by removing the inner lining, this is usually zipped in with some press studs holding the arms/legs down.

  2. Remove all the armour from your garment, this is usually in a pocket which is sealed by Velcro.

  3. Fill a tub with warm water and place the garment inside to soak. Once the jacket has been soaked through you can agitate the outer material with a soft brush to get in between the fibres and clean out all the dirt.

  4. You can buy specialist cleaning products which are specifically designed for this use from most motorcycle dealers. If you do choose to use any products, then we would advise to patch test on a hidden area before hand and do so at your own risk. Please ensure you read all the care instructions before applying and if you are unsure then seek advice from the supplier.

  5. The thermal liner you removed at the start can be placed into a washing machine on a standard 30degree wash.

  6. Once satisfied the garment is clean then you can leave it to dry in a well-ventilated area (avoid leaving this in direct sunlight as this may bleach the product).

  7. Finally, once dry you can choose to spray with a fabric freshener to keep it smelling fresh.

• What is the warranty policy?

  RST Moto warrants products to the original retail buyer for the time periods listed below. Items that are to be considered for warranty need to be taken back to the place of purchase for inspection.
  
  RST Moto products are covered under a 2-year warranty from the date of original purchase.
  
  This warranty guarantees that our products are free from defects in materials and workmanship. If you feel that a product is not performing as it should during the warranty period due to materials or workmanship, please return to the place of purchase. If, after inspection, it is determined that it would be covered under the warranty policy, then we will repair or replace the product at our discretion. If a warranty is approved and cannot be repaired a replacement will be provided. If an exact replacement is not available, then one of equal value in the same size and color will be issued.
  
  This warranty does not cover damage due to accidents, improper use, natural breakdown of colors/materials over time, or normal wear and tear.
  
  RST’s warranty is not applicable if:
  
  - Damage is due to a crash
  - Damage is due to improper use
  - Damage is due to a natural breakdown of colors/materials over time
  - Normal wear and tear
  
  Some examples of damage not covered by Warranty are:
  
  - Materials that have been snagged, ripped, torn, punctured or burned
  - Faded from sun exposure, improper washing care or failure to follow RST's care instructions
  
  Every product is susceptible to normal wear and tear though the lifetime of the product. The lifetime of the product can be accelerated through high frequency and/or aggressive use, or through age itself, and can contribute to advancing the rate of natural breakdown of the product.
